  - The Columbus Ronald McDonald House is the second largest in the world and serves nearly 3,000 families each year by providing over 20,000 nights at the House.
  - The House is nearly 80,000 square feet with 80 guest rooms, including 10 continuing care suites for families whose children need an isolated environment close to the hospital during chemotherapy or following a transplant.
  - More than 250 volunteers serve families and support the house's annual operations and fund raising activities.
  - Volunteers work nearly 35,000 hours at the Ronald McDonald House each year, equaling an equivalent value of $700,000.
  - The average stay is about 8 nights; some stays are only one night, and some stays are more than a year.
  - Most families come from within 150 miles of Columbus, but we also serve people from other states and countries.
  - A manager is available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the needs of families.
  - We have been averaging 85% occupancy since opening in July 2008 hitting capacity only three months after opening.
  - Families are asked for a $20 per night room donation, but no one is ever turned away for financial reasons.
  - The estimated cost per night of housing a family is $100; this cost is largely covered by donations from the community.
  - In our guest surveys, which we've conducted since October 2006, we have received 99.9 percent positive ratings from families on questions about the quality of our staff, volunteers and facility.
  - The House is located across the street from Nationwide Children's Hospital at 711 E. Livingston Avenue.
  - The first Ronald McDonald House in Columbus opened in 1982
