Ronald McDonald House Charities Central Ohio

Nationwide Children's Hospital is a critical partner of RMHC of Central Ohio, and we are extremely proud to support their efforts to provide excellent health care to children in Central Ohio and beyond. Our partnership, which has continued for nearly three decades, is growing stronger each year. In fact, in 2009 a new partnership between our organizations was launched, allowing employees of RMHC to receive all of the benefits and support of employees of Nationwide Children's Hospital. And beginning in late 2010, our organizations began working together to provide access to healthcare for children in underserved areas of Central and Southeastern Ohio through our Ronald McDonald Care Mobile program.

Nationwide Children's Hospital is a nationally recognized pediatric hospital, and is actually increasing its draw from outside of Central Ohio based on the specialized care offered and its outstanding reputation throughout the world. This expansion of service has resulted in a greater need for services provided by at the Ronald McDonald House.

As an integral partner, Nationwide Children's has made in-kind and cash donations to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. These donations include:
- Lease over one acre of prime real estate adjacent to Nationwide Children's Hospital, for $1/year.
- Capital Campaign contribution to Ronald McDonald House for $100,000.
- Annual assistance for the House's utility expenses of $20,000 for 40 years.
- Exterior maintenance of facility to include landscaping maintenance
- Assistance with various internal operations such as technology and human resources needs.
- Purchasing the previous Ronald McDonald House and arranging another lease to facilitate the move to our current facility on Livingston Avenue.
