How You Can Help
Friends Program
Your Community Making a Difference
You can make a profound impact on the lives of seriously ill children by establishing a Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC) Friends Chapter. While children from your hometown receive treatment at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, their families can stay right across the street, only steps away from their child, at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. And you can support them by building a Friends Chapter in your community to raise awareness and funds to offset the cost of their stay at the Ronald McDonald House.
The RMHC Friends Program provides individuals an opportunity to meet new people while making a profound difference in the lives of the children and families staying at the Columbus Ronald McDonald House. All it takes is a group of like-minded individuals who band together with the common goal to help provide a home-away-from-home for your neighbors in one of their deepest times of need. Your Friends Chapter can start with one passionate individual or a group of lifelong friends. Whether you are inspired by a personal experience or compassion, you and your Friends Chapter can make a practical difference by raising funds for the Columbus Ronald McDonald House, which is the second largest of its kind in the world. With eighty guest rooms, the House is in a unique position to help thousands of families every year. And with that opportunity comes the challenge of providing the funds needed to provide this wonderfully necessary service.
Are you passionate about helping children to have their loved ones nearby during their deepest time of need? Please consider establishing or joining a Friends Chapter in your hometown. For more information, email Angie Zeglen, Development Director.
