McHappy Day
Each year, our partners at McDonald's of Central Ohio commemorate McHappy Day, a celebration of the children of the world, by raising funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio. This wonderful event and fundraiser is not only a tremendous source of financial support for our Charity, but also a great way to share the message of RMHC with the customers of McDonald's in each local community. For the month leading up to McHappy Day, which takes place each November 20th, each restaurant sells "hands" for $1 each, which people can sign and place on the wall of the McDonald's. And to celebrate McHappy Day, the McDonald's Owner/Operators of Central Ohio generously agreed to give a portion of the proceeds from special value meals in their restaurants. All together, this amazing partnership raises tens of thousands of dollars each year, and helps our Charity to fulfill our mission.
